Bill and I wrote this song via text message. He was on one side of the country, I was on the other, which was kind of fitting. Both of us were reflecting upon the torments of being a touring musician and being apart from a love, which tugs at your heart and pushes you to the brink that makes you question, if being apart is worth the pain?
